Our Footprints Throughout 50 Remarkable Years

1973
JLW established its first office in Asia in Hong Kong.
1975
JLW was honoured to have managed Gammon House, the first Hong Kong office block equipped with a computer-controlled building services system, which is now known as the Bank of America Tower.
1976
JLW was appointed as the sole leasing agent for the 650,000 sq ft Ocean Centre, on behalf of Hong Kong & Kowloon Wharf & Godown Company Limited.
1986
JLW expanded and became a 300-employee company in Hong Kong.
1993
JLW massively expanded to 12 offices with 980 staff.
1994
JLW took a big step forward towards expanding into the mainland China market by setting up its Shanghai office.
1999
JLW merged with LaSalle Partners to officially form Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).
2008
JLL acquired Sallmanns (one of Asia’s foremost independent asset valuers), whose core management team is now leading the Valuation & Advisory team in Greater China.
2011
Pacific Place 3 office opening!
2016
JLL acquired GTDZ Balanced Land and Property Valuation Co. Ltd and Golden Standard & Headmen Appraisal and Advisory Co. Ltd, collectively known as “Dazheng / Goldmine”, and seamlessly integrated them into the Valuation & Advisory team.

JLL Hong Kong’s 50th anniversary celebrations kicked off with an incredible staff party. The JLL office was absolutely buzzing with energy as teams from across our business came together to party and welcome our APAC and GC leadership with our signature sense of hospitality and fun.


May 7, 2023

This year’s Goodman Magic Mile Charity Run brought together over 150 JLL colleagues and their families to support Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong! As a double platinum sponsor, we are thrilled to have contributed to raising close to HKD2.5 million for a worthy cause.

JLL Hong Kong’s flagship charity run event “Urban Relay” has returned! With over 40 teams joining, we are thrilled to share that among all participants, over HKD$250,000 was successfully raised for our charity partner, Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong.
